J’s Run is a 501(c)3 organization dedicated to finding a cure for pancreatic cancer. Founded in 2009, by Jennifer LoConte, J’s Run 5k Run/Walk initially began as Joan’s Run and was dedicated to her mother. Joan Stein passed away on Nov. 16th, 2009, just 51 days after being diagnosed with stage IV metastatic pancreatic cancer. Shortly after her mother's death, Jennifer learned of a 2nd woman, Jennifer Reeves, who lived in her neighborhood and was battling the same horrific disease. Read more...
